Introduced in 2012, the EX-02 is the first liner lock in the Extreme Series Knives. Every aspect was carefully engineered to ensure the user would get a tool they could treasure and pass down to the next generation. Unique features about this knife include an extra thick hardened stainless steel liner lock and a manual safety that prevents the lock from failing under extreme use.

This knife design can be effortlessly opened using the ambidextrous thumb stud or optional flipper tab. The flipper option allows for faster opening and provides a guard in front of the finger groove. The blade can be easily closed with one hand, even while wearing gloves. A solid back end allows the knife to be used as a striking tool and a deep finger groove helps control the EX-02 during use.
